Greetings From California

Yesterday afternoon I came home to a big package sitting on my bed, I was very excited, it felt like christmas morning. I quickly tore off the envelope to find a box wrapped in heart-covered paper, I took that off to find a red box with butterflies on it. Inside the box I found this! Months ago I won a giveaway put on by Alejandra, the stuff up for grab was her immense sticker collection. She warned me it was a big one, and damn was she right! I've never seen such a big sticker collection, and now it's all mine! I'm so happy! She also included a bunch of other stuff, garbage pail kids paraphernalia, devo pins (I was listening to them as I was opening this parcel, Alejandra how did you know?!), a cute pen, pokemon temporary tattoos, cross berets, lots of GLITTER, gum, hello kitty mints, and a ton of other stuff!

Yippy!

Lately I've been slacking on my internet duties, girl-guts went without posts for almost a week, I haven't done the weekly round-up in 2 weeks, and this blog hasn't been updated in a month! They're not duties, and I do enjoy doing them fully. But it's like homework sometimes, if I forget to do it one week then something in my brain says to avoid at all costs so I don't have to deal with it. I'm still learning how to be a grown-up and this definitely something I need to get over!

However yesterday (technically today, thanks auto-post) I received a package in the mail, and it made me so excited I had to post about it.

All the way from Australia, my yippywhippy merch came in today!! Nicole is a wonderful babe, she is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of speaking with on the internet, you should check out her blog www.yippywhippy.com if you haven't already. She even added in an extra pin and some stickers that may be tattoo's, i'm not sure yet.

Lime Dream

I've been sitting (figuratively) on these photos for a while now, I was going to make a post about my recent purchases, but they aren't all that attractive together, so I'd rather not take the time to put them together in a post. I'll just show you the ones that are most cohesive!

I wore this to Ikea with my mum and sister. My sister needed a new lamp and I felt like eating ikea meatballs. Have you tried their Princess Cake? It is so delicious!

I took these photos before I looked in  the mail and saw that there was a package for me! Look what was inside!

Beautiful Barbarella and Batman pins. So cheap, so good, so happy! They took forever in the mail, although they came all the way from the east so I guess sometimes that happens.

I also bought this toy gun at Talize. It's broken, but that doesn't matter, I'll just be using it as prop for a shoot anyway.

Letter from New York

Yesterday I received my first letter from New York! It was very exciting, even more so when I realized it was from Lacey aka Lulinternet, inside was a collection of awesome stickers that she made herself! Recently I've been dabbling in 8-bit art and listening to I guess 8-bit music. A friend of mine showed me a really neat video on the history of the Minimoog, check it out here. The same friend also dabbles in new media art, you should check out his 8-bit remix of an aardvark robinson song here!

I had a pretty average Wednesday besides that, it was my mum's day off so we went for a play date with my little sister at my friend's charge's house.
